CMA are working with a growing technology company based in Portsmouth on an exclusive basis. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified financial accountant to join a growing business who have some exciting plans for growth over the next 5 years. As a financial accountant, you will lead on the production of statutory accounts, VAT, Tax, and other associated duties.
What will the Financial Accountant role involve? Lead on preparation of statutory accounts including financial statements. Take ownership of the audit process liaising with the external audit partners. All VAT and tax related work within the organization. Assist with the month-end close ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Other ad hoc duties.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy: Qualified (ACA/ACCA). Previous experience in a financial accounting role. Experience gained in an audit role within a practice environment. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Strong IT skills including advanced Excel and experience with an ERP system.
