LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently supporting a leading Reigate based organisation with the recruitment of a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key part in shaping financial reporting, improving processes, and driving growth of this fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end close process and ensure management accounts are delivered on time. Oversee VAT returns, address VAT-related queries, and ensure full compliance. Handle reconciliations for balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow to keep everything on track. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts and analyse financial performance. Manage the Fixed Assets Register and track new acquisitions and disposals. Be a key player in external audits, providing necessary information and insights. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management. Identify areas to improve financial processes and implement solutions to boost efficiency. Work with HR on payroll and benefits processing, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
Key Skills / Experience:
ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant Experience working as part of a finance team in an operationally driven, fast-paced business. Good problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to ensure relevant stakeholders are involved at the right time. Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and financial regulations. Proven experience in preparing financial statements and reports on time and to a high degree of accuracy. Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively, to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
The company offers hybrid working and is paying up to £65k plus bonus.
