Logisnext UK Ltd are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to take full ownership of the leasing entity, Logisnext Leasing UK (LLUK). The successful candidate will be based at our Thame Office, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the leasing entity (LLUK) and will contribute to key accounting functions within the main sales entity.

This key role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with the sales team and external funding companies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.

Key responsibilities Manage, lead, coach and provide support and guidance to two part time leasing administrators. Responsible for overall Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet monthly reporting to ensure all local and group reporting deadlines are met for LLUK. Manage the preparation of forecasts budgets and cash flow reporting for LLUK. Liaise with group accounting, promptly addressing queries and ensuring accurate recording of one-off accounting events. Co-ordinate, manage and prepare the calculation and execution of quarterly VAT return and associated VAT reporting for VAT group (LUK and LLUK). Co-ordinate, manage and provide information to External and Internal Auditors at quarterly, interim and year end audit for LLUK, including active support with statutory account preparation. Liaise and proactively manage the relationship with external funding companies, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information. Support Finance Director in ensuring tax compliance, to include Corporation Tax, Employment Taxes (PSA submission) and Indirect Taxes for both LLUK and LUK. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract management and administration for LLUK. Support the sales team and contract manager in negotiating new customer contracts, safeguarding company interests. Support with the implementation of ad hoc projects as considered necessary by the Finance Director. Requirements

Knowledge, skills, experience and certifications

ACCA or ACA finalist (not by exemptions) or newly qualified. Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting function. Basic understanding of basic accounting and tax principles. Proven expertise in fixed asset accounting. Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel at the Intermediate level). Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively. Organised and structured with good attention to detail, and "can do" attitude. Good written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to work to strict deadlines. Problem solver. Benefits
