basis. The successful Financial Accountant will work very closely with the Finance Director as a senior member of the team and will be involved in all financial day-to-day operations including the preparation of monthly management accounts.
This role offers a hybrid working pattern and requires you to travel to the office 3 days per week. Job Description Financial Accountant responsibilities include: Delivering accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decisions Managing budgets and forecasting future financial requirements Preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements Processing of monthly adjustments and journals Own fixed asset reporting and liaise on projects Calculating costs across the wider business Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards Handle internal audit submissions and governance Supporting external audit processes Support with monthly management accounts and payroll Conduct ad-hoc financial data analysis and implementation of new processes and improvements The Successful Applicant The successful Financial Accountant should have/be: A formal Qualification - ACA / ACCA Ideally a 1st/ 2nd stepper from Practice or from a Manufacturing (fast-paced) environment Great data analysis skills Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel Experience of using SAP Business One is advantageous Well organised and process-driven Confident in the ability to bring new ideas to the table, reviewing, improving, and creating new processes Self-motivated, engaged, and able to work independently What's on Offer Matched 5.5% pension contribution Private GP service for you and immediate family Life insurance Bereavement counselling 25 days annual leave + bank holidays If you're a Financial Accountant looking to take your career to the next level in an established company with a clear progression path, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
