Financial Accountant
to join them in a position of significant responsibility, working very closely with their Financial Controller. This full time and permanent position is offered on a hybrid working arrangement, with up to 3 days working from home and the remainder to be based at the business headquarters in Truro. The opportunity is perfectly suited to a driven individual with a great head for the numbers as well as management reporting. Key duties to include:
Supporting the Financial Controller with month end procedures Ensuring accurate account reconciliations and insightful management reports Playing a key role in preparing financial forecasts and business plans Producing and maintaining financial models Production of monthly and ad-hoc financial statements Costing and pricing analysis We’re looking for a talented and preferably qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) for this role, possessing at least 2-3 years PQE ideally gained within a fast paced and rapidly growing company. Previous experience gained in a retail/factory/housing/warehousing environment would be ideal, but not essential. Whilst a qualified candidate is preferred, those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. Candidates must possess excellent all round IT aptitude, and as this is a role that regularly liaises with colleagues in all departments, strong communication skills are a must.
