A leading hospitality business in restaurants and music is seeking a Financial Accountant.
Role and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the commercial property team and take ownership of the accounting of lease transactions. Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including preparing accounting entries and reconciliations. Investigate and provide commentary for the management team. Provide technical accounting support to the Assistant Reporting Accountant for Music. Supervise accounting entries. Support the preparation of month-end reviews. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Post period-end journals for base rent, turnover rent, and rent reviews. Act as a point of contact for ad-hoc queries. Assist with cash flow forecasting. Assist with the preparation of budgets. This is an exciting role for a finalist or newly qualified professional who has experience with preparing accounting entries, reconciliation, and commentary. The ideal candidate will have experience with Lease Accounting IFRS 16 / IAS 17, be eager to develop their career, and possess excellent communication skills.
