A leading hospitality business in restaurants and music, is seeking a Financial Accountant.
Role and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the commercial property team and take ownership for the accounting of lease transactions. Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including preparing accounting entries & reconciliations. Investigate and provide commentary for the management team. Provide technical accounting support to the Assistant Reporting Accountant for Music. Supervise accounting entries. Support the preparation of month-end reviews. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Post period-end journals for base rent, turnover rent, and rent reviews. Be the point of contact for ad-hoc queries. Assist with cash flow forecasting. Assist with the preparation of budgets. This is an exciting role for a finalist or newly qualified professional who has experience with preparing accounting entries, reconciliation, and commentary. The ideal candidate will have experience in Lease Accounting IFRS 16 / IAS 17, be eager to develop their career, and possess excellent communication skills.
