Our client is a well-known brand in the fashion industry with an office based in Watford. We are working with this company to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their busy and expanding finance team. Are you a qualified Accountant looking for a role in industry? This role is fully office based in Watford, with a requirement for some travel to their London office, one day per week.
Responsibilities:
Management Accounting
Liaising with the sales and operations teams to prepare sales and margin reports, and sales forecasts. Maintaining costing sheets of products. Preparation of weekly purchase order logs. Stock reporting.
Financial Accounting
Assist Financial Controller with preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts. Variance analysis of operating expenses. Preparation of weekly/quarterly cash flow statements.
Skills & Experience: Sage 200 experience would be beneficial. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with non-financial managers. Willingness to travel within the UK & Europe.
