As a Financial Accountant, you will become a key player in a dynamic team, responsible for ensuring financial accuracy and control across our UK operations. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders, you will:

Be instrumental in producing monthly contract profit and loss accounts, helping to steer our projects toward profitability. Take ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring precision and clarity in financial reporting. Drive process improvements, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and financial control. Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure our financial practices align with group policies while supporting operational excellence. Responsibilities

Lead and coach direct reports, fostering a high-performing, growth-focused team culture. Support the Financial Controller with month-end consolidations, group reporting, and P&L accuracy. Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies while ensuring compliance with accounting policies. Drive process improvements, implementing sustainable changes to enhance efficiency and control. Requirements

Newly qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a strong foundation in finance principles.

Proven experience in Balance Sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and control processes.

A keen eye for detail paired with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and operational teams.
