Your Opportunity Are you ready to take a key role in shaping the financial reporting and controls landscape of a large and dynamic organisation? As a Financial Accounting Manager at Haven, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting key decision-makers with accurate and timely financial insights. This is a newly created senior position, offering an excellent platform to drive impact and contribute to our success.

What this role will involve day to day:

Preparing year-end Group consolidation and consolidated accounts, including all subsidiary accounts. Leading the year-end audit process, collaborating closely with external auditors and internal finance teams. Developing and implementing accounting policies to align with best practices. Preparing quarterly bank/investor reporting in line with our lending agreements. Overseeing cash management and treasury reporting, including coaching and mentoring a direct report. Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and leading the SAO process. Accounting for new company acquisitions, including fair value adjustments. Communicating financial standards and controls to internal and external stakeholders. Addressing audit findings and driving corrective actions.

What we'd like you to bring: Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and compliance requirements (GAAP/IFRS). Proven experience in financial reporting, including preparing financial statements and managing audits. Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in a top 4 accounting firm preferred. Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and developing team members. Effective communication skills to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in identifying and managing financial risks. A proactive, integrity-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
