What will the Financial Accounting Manager role involve?
Managing the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other standards.
Overseeing the preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns.
Leading and developing a team of accountants, conducting appraisals and providing coaching and mentoring.
Deputising for the Senior Manager when needed and handling resource planning for team members.
Participating in key accounting projects and process improvement initiatives, while managing risks around the accounting function.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accounting Manager vacancy:
A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA).
Experience producing financial statements and a solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
A strong track record of managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
