Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

We are currently seeking a Financial Administrator to join a well-established company based in Central Bristol. In this role, you will become an integral part of the Dealing Team, responsible for the successful onboarding, trading, settling, and general administration of investments within the platform's products and services. If you have recently completed sixth form and are looking to start a career in finance, this is the ideal opportunity for you.

Main Duties:

Ensure that daily dealing files are prepared and uploaded to EMX, Calastone, and Winterflood before the internal cut-off point. Carry out any internally requested Fund Switches and rebalance requests in a timely manner. Process conversions and corporate actions as they arise. Execute contract notes within the system. Set up new agency and nominee accounts with new Fund Managers. Check and work through daily control reports to ensure accuracy. Manage portfolio rebalances. Process contracts and execute related tasks. Handle fund switches, purchase settlements, and phased investments. Oversee corporate actions and manage related daily control reports. Process dividends efficiently. Correct and resolve any incident-related issues or fixes.

Skills: Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally. Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Energetic, collaborative, and proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic environment. Optimistic and results-driven, with a 'can-do' attitude towards challenges. Confidence to challenge existing processes and contribute new ideas, while working alongside senior team members. Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage data and perform complex tasks. Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
