Brand Leaders Head of Finance/Financial Controllers Management Accountant Assistant Management Accountant Internal stakeholders PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Neighborly finances, providing monthly and yearly consolidation and advice regarding all financial matters within the business, including all financial analysis into business planning and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Management and consolidation of monthly management accounts/reports. Diligent management reporting to assist with key decision making. Produce month-end and year-end journals as necessary. Reconcile Intra and Intercompany accounts. Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process. Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, and variance analysis with commentaries. Ensure compliance with all standards and financial regulations. Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations. Review company assets and liabilities. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for all brands. Review of monthly expenses and credit card transactions. Support individual brands - end to end Annual Audit. Support and provide cover for the Director of Accounting when required. Support Finance/Payroll System deliveries. Any other reasonable duty that falls within your capabilities. This role profile provides an indication of the role's key accountabilities and is not intended to cover the whole scope of the role.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE:

Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) is essential. Technical Accounting skills (UKGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP). Experience of using finance systems, ideally D365. Thorough understanding of management information systems. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial. Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to impart and clearly articulate information to key stakeholders. Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen. Advanced Excel knowledge and other similar financial tools i.e., BI. BEHAVIOURS
