Job Title: Financial Analyst

Daily Rate: £300
Location: Paddington (3 days a week, Tuesday to Thursday) with remote work on Monday and Friday. Flexibility may be considered.

About the Role We're looking for a proactive and skilled Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance Team on an initial 4-6-month contract. You will support critical functions like sales reporting, forecasting, and month-end analysis.
This role requires a hands-on approach to interpreting financial data, reconciling systems, and providing insights to influence decision-making. Your expertise in Excel, Power BI (or similar tools), and experience in FMCG or manufacturing finance will set you apart in this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner on sales reporting and forecasting. Deliver month-end analysis, including sales revenue, sales volume, and variance interpretation. Support ad hoc requests and system reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Analyze month-end variances and provide actionable insights for business performance. Reconcile sales data between systems to support decision-making. What We're Looking For
Experience: Prior experience in finance within manufacturing or FMCG industries is essential. Skills:
Strong IT literacy, including advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in Power BI, HFM, Cognos, or similar systems.
Education: Finance-related qualification or equivalent professional experience. Personal Attributes:
A keen learner with a proactive attitude. Able to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
Work Pattern
Onsite: 3 days a week in Paddington (Tuesday to Thursday). Remote: Monday and Friday. Core working hours: 9 AM-5 PM (with flexibility as needed). What We Offer
