Bury St. Edmunds . Main Responsibilities and Tasks: Support the Head of FP&A in providing SLT management reports to agreed deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ownership of month end activities and supporting Group reporting requirements. Prepare and upload month end transactions in line with all Group policies and procedures. Monthly headcount uploads, including reconciliations with HR data and commentary on movements versus last month and latest forecast. Assist with Global quarterly forecasts and annual budgets based on Group timetable. This will include meetings with internal stakeholders, data uploads and bridging variances. Prepare and maintain robust reporting models for Sales, Marketing, Admin and R&D. Monthly opex review and management. Analyse variances and provide commentary, including risks & opportunities, in a clear and timely fashion. Prepare ad-hoc information as requested by Division or Group. Knowledge and Skills: Essential: Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA) 1-2 years’ experience working in a commercial finance role Solid knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, lookups & sumifs Ability to use own initiative to address problems and present solutions Professional approach with excellent communication skills Strong presentation skills Attention to detail ability An understanding of own limitations with regards to safety of self and others, especially in connection with maintenance duties.
