Financial Analyst
Job Type: Full-time. 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Guildford
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (negotiable, depending on experience)
Join the team as a Financial Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in managing and analysing financial data to support business operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mind and a passion for numbers.
Day-to-day of the role:
Responsible for the monthly analysis of costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
Monitor invoices processed by the accounts payable team to ensure they are posted to the correct cost centre and that payments are up to date.
Support and challenge the project delivery team to accurately allocate contractor and third-party costs to the correct projects.
Collaborate with the HR and payroll team on FTE and staff costs reporting.
Ensure proper cost allocation and recharging to the business, supporting the team in financial operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT) or currently studying, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and a keen aptitude for numbers.
Ability to work independently and solve complex problems using multiple sources of information.
Intermediate skills in Excel and experience with systems such as SAP and Ariba.
