The role offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that plays a crucial part in the wider finance function, providing financial and analytical support, reporting, modelling and forecasting. As a Financial Analyst reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping strategic decisions and monitoring financial performance. You will play a critical role in developing and refining forecasting models, analysing customer data and creating profitability frameworks to drive continued business success. Key Responsibilities: Develop & maintain forecasting models & management information for new and existing customer bases, including P&L and balance sheet impacts. Analyse & provide financial insights on business performance, budget v actuals and presenting to key stakeholders. Refine and enhance existing reporting processes & models, focusing on profitability analysis to enable strategic business decision making process. Business partner with wider teams to gather data and ensure accuracy and relevance of financial performance. Prepare and present comprehensive data-driven insights from large datasets, ensuring they translate into actionable recommendations. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Key Requirements: ACA Qualified accountant. Proven experience in financial analysis, and modelling. Experience in Financial Services. Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate seamlessly into the team. Attention to detail and ability to present work clearly and concisely. Effective communication of financial information through reports and in meetings. Familiarity with SQL, Power BI. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
