Project Finance Analyst

to join a dynamic organisation in Stoke. This is a key role supporting strategic financial initiatives and ensuring accurate project reporting during an exciting phase of growth. The position requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and proficiency in Power BI to drive insights and improve decision-making. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s financial success while gaining exposure to a collaborative and innovative work environment. Wish List Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, modelling) and strong Power BI proficiency. Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively to non finance individuals. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work on-site in Stoke once per week. Immediately available The Role The successful

Project Finance Analyst

will be responsible for: Financial Analysis and Reporting : Deliver accurate and timely project financial reports, providing insights to senior stakeholders. Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Data Visualisation : Use Power BI to develop dashboards and visual reports, enabling the business to make data-driven decisions. Cost Monitoring : Track and analyse project costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to ensure financial control. Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with project managers, finance teams, and other departments to improve financial transparency and efficiency. Start Date & Contract This is a

12-month fixed-term contract

with the potential for extension. The successful candidate must be available to start in early February 2025. Salary & Benefits The salary on offer is

£50,000–£60,000 per annum , dependent on experience. The role requires on-site presence in Stoke once per week, with the remainder of the time working remotely. To be considered, you must be immediately available or on very short notice.
