Financial Controller Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day from home) Location: Guildford Salary: £65k - £75k per annum + bonus I am seeking a Financial Controller to join my clients Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all financial aspects of two of their UK business within a larger international group. This role is integral to their strategic planning, offering a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Managing Directors and Leadership team to enhance financial processes and drive business performance. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and implement strategic financial plans alongside the Leadership team. Provide accurate and insightful financial advice, analysis, and reports to support decision-making. Ensure the timely delivery of monthly and annual financial reports. Offer forecasts and insights on financial trends to aid in long-term planning. Lead the annual budget process and monitor cash flows and financial transactions. Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with internal controls. Represent the finance department in projects and transformation programmes. Collaborate on monthly reporting, process optimisation, and budgeting. Responsibility for one member of staff. Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings to discuss and strategise on financial matters. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must be a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role. Strong financial and strategic planning skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in managing financial risk and control activities.
