Financial Control Manager Role – Edinburgh Are you ready to elevate your career within financial control? We're excited to present a permanent opportunity with a leading financial institution based in Edinburgh. This role offers an attractive cash earnings of up to £60,000 plus 10% pension and a hybrid working arrangement (two days in the office per week, the rest remote). About the Role: As a Financial Control Manager, you’ll take ownership of product control activities, ensuring the delivery and integrity of financial, statutory, and management reporting. This is a key leadership role where you’ll: Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information. Assess and properly account for the risks associated with lending arrangements. Set control frameworks and governance standards aligned with overall business strategy. Substantiate and reconcile balance sheets and profit & loss accounts. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Implement strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies and controls. What We’re Looking For: A qualified accountant with experience in practice audit or financial control within a medium-to-large corporate environment. Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and reports. Proficiency in analysing financial data and identifying trends or risks. Good attention to detail. Developed stakeholder engagement skills. A commercial mindset with a track record of implementing business process improvements. A willingness to learn. Why Apply?
