This is a newly created role and is the ideal opportunity for an experienced finance professional taking a step up. We are encouraging applications from candidates currently occupying a Finance Manager/Controller level position who feel ready for increased responsibility and career progression.This represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing business during an exciting moment of change and development. Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for ensuring appropriate financial reporting systems and control procedures are implemented across the business Manage people and identify opportunities for improvement and the effectiveness of the accounting system Prepare, review and analyse financial information Prepare, review and analyse statutory accounts Provide month end management accounts with comprehensive review and analysis and provide to MD and board Prepare overhead budgets Assume overall responsibility for monthly P&L forecasting Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures Provide monthly KPI data Maintain appropriate document storage and files Oversee cash management and credit control function Liaising with local auditors and tax advisers Develop and implement financial objectives in line with organisational goals. Background and Experience To be successful you will be a Qualified Accountant with experience as a Finance Manager/Controller, looking to take a step up. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with the senior leadership team. You will have a high level of commercial acumen and enjoy supporting strategic decision making. Flexibility and Benefits This role can be done on a hybrid basis. An attractive salary is on offer, dependent on experience, along with a discretionary annual bonus.
