THIS ROLE IS OFFICE BASED Job Summary: This is an exciting, newly created position based on the business being well established and growing. My client is looking for the right person to make a positive impact and bring on board new ideas. Asthe Financial Controller, youwill oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management. This is a great opportunity to work with a close team Key Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including costings, inventory accounting, looking at margins, staff costs, profitability, overheads, management accounting and productivity of each site Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish reports required by other Managers Support month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Provide leadership and support to the finance team and non-finance members and act as the 'go to person' for finance queries Fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications: Qualified or qualified by experience Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
