We are hiring a

Financial Controller

to join our clients growing team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial operations and providing administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day business operations.

About the Role:

As the

Financial Controller , your responsibilities will include: Finance Responsibilities:

Managing monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Producing and managing accounts and financial statements. Overseeing aged debtors and managing payment runs. Completing bank reconciliations, raising invoices, and processing purchase orders. Preparing VAT returns, CIS monthly reports, and subcontractor payment certificates. Monitoring departmental performance and contributing to financial strategy decisions. Managing tax and compliance obligations. Producing accurate management reports. Office Administration:

Managing employee benefits, holiday records, and insurance renewals. Maintaining trade body registrations and health & safety compliance. Ordering materials, equipment, and supplies. Updating and maintaining the company website. Health & Safety Compliance:

Managing staff and subcontractor training schedules. Updating policy documents and maintaining supplier H&S records. Coordinating with contractors on technical requirements and equipment schedules. Ensuring project documentation and certifications are accurate and up to date. About You:

To succeed as a

Financial Controller , you should have: Proven experience in a similar role within the

construction industry . Knowledge and experience with Xero Accounting Software. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset. The ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members. What’s on Offer:
