is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is critical in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to guide decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial strategies and implementing initiatives that align with the company’s long-term goals. Additionally, the Financial Controller will lead the finance team and oversee project-based work to improve processes and enhance financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation of the company’s financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed reporting and financial analysis to senior management. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support the company’s long-term objectives and growth plans. Lead the implementation of financial strategies that drive profitability and efficiency across the organization. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, developing and implementing robust internal controls to mitigate risks. Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, driving actionable insights. Support the senior management team in strategic financial planning and analysis, helping to shape the company’s financial future. Manage and lead the finance team, providing mentorship, fostering professional development, and ensuring high performance. Oversee financial projects aimed at improving systems, processes, and operational efficiencies, with a focus on driving continuous improvement. Qualifications and Experience: Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar financial management role, with a proven track record in managing financial projects and implementing strategic initiatives. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and internal controls. Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Experience providing strategic financial advice and working closely with senior management teams. Skills and Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading finance projects. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly and concisely. Experience in project management, particularly in driving improvements and implementing financial strategies. Proficiency in accounting software/ QuickBooks / Sage and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
