A service organisation based in Bridgwater is currently recruiting a Financial Controller to join their team.

Duties will include:

Supporting the FD to make strategic decisions based on financial performance Managing and mentoring a team Finalising month end, providing month end analysis and commentary Manage and maintain ongoing process improvements within the team Assist with year end audit and statutory accounting Build relationships with non-finance heads of departments Ad hoc project accounting

The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have previous experience of managing staff. Strong analysis and reporting skills are also essential.
