Part-time Financial Controller wanted for client based in Bristol (within a 45-minute radius preferred)
About the role:
We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to work part-time with one of our existing clients in the Bristol/Bath area. You should ideally have experience with ERP systems, WIP monitoring, and detailed cost analysis. While the financial basics are in place, there is a strong need for an FC to continue improving reporting standards.
About You:
You are a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with proven experience supporting growing SMEs. Ideally, you are already self-employed and must commit to at least 2 days per week.
Your expertise should include:
Management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Cashflow and profit forecasting
Experience with integrated stock control and project costing system
Commercial insight and strategic support
Managing year-end routine and liaising with accountants but not preparing statutory accounts
Excel skills, including pivots, SUMIFs, and graphs
Presenting financial and commercial insights to non-finance stakeholders
You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience leading a small finance team.
