Superb interim opportunity for a high calibre Financial Controller to join a busy business on the North Devon and Cornwall border for a period of up to 6 months.
Working for a successful business whilst they recruit on a permanent basis, this crucial appointment will take immediate responsibility for the statutory finance functions of the department. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support them with the smooth running of the day-to-day financial activities of the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring strong financial control of the business Preparation of management accounts Budgeting and forecasting Liaising with non-financial stakeholders Managing a small team Providing financial advice to senior management Liaising with external agencies and third parties KPI reporting Quarterly VAT returns
Experience/Attributes Required:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience Proven track record of strong financial control Hands-on accountant with good attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour Ability to work to tight deadlines Advanced Excel skills
