Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our client's Manufacturing Site Senior Leadership in the Carlisle area, on a permanent basis.
Our client, a world leader in their FMCG manufacturing field, is seeking a Financial Controller to support their established plant. This is an exciting time to join one of their key European strategic sites. Site-based role, with 3 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor financial performance indicators, ensuring compliance with accounting rules and local statutory requirements
Uphold strong internal controls and policies
Analyse budgets, forecasts, and manufacturing costs
Provide financial support to plant departments
Implement corrective actions as needed
Drive continuous improvement in the finance area
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing
Experience managing a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of Finance ERP and SAP systems
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
