In this key role, you will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining the annual budget and 5-year plan, providing financial direction for the company. Overseeing all financial controls, governance, and policies, keeping them up-to-date with regulatory changes and company values. Fostering a strong and supportive team environment, mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement in processes. Partnering with all departments across the site to identify profit improvement opportunities and cost efficiencies. Empowering department heads to become more accountable for their financial performance. Continuously seeking ways to streamline and optimise the Finance Department's operations. Deputising for the CFO, as required, for Kronospan UK matters. Preparing and reviewing financial presentations to support company investment plans. Requirements A relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance role, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels. A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement. Experience in leading and motivating a team.
