Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, your primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of financial management for the company. This includes everything from corporate accounting to regulatory and financial reporting. You will also be tasked with developing business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls. Your role will involve ensuring quality control over financial transactions, managing compliance with government reporting requirements, coordinating regulatory reporting, researching technical accounting issues for compliance, and supporting the month-end and year-end close process.

Manage all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process What the successful candidate will bring

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Proven working experience as a Financial controller 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with creating financial statements Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process Excellent accounting software user administration skills What sets this company apart
