Salary is up to £55K, depending on experience Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm (can be a little flexible on hours) Company based in Cricklade area of Swindon About the Financial Controller role:

The Financial Controller will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial information. Duties & Responsibilities for the Financial Controller role:

Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements. Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Manage the company's cash flow and monitor financial performance against budget. Liaise with external auditors and other professional advisors as required. Provide financial guidance and advice to department heads and other stakeholders across the business. Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Experience & Skills required for the Financial Controller role:

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, with a strong background in finance and accounting. Experience working with Sage50. A degree in accounting or finance, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience is desirable. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
