About the Role This pivotal role will involve leading the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing actionable insights to support the company's ambitious growth trajectory. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Controller will manage key financial processes, oversee a well-resourced and talented team, and act as a crucial link between various stakeholders, including shareholders and auditors. Responsibilities As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for: Month-End Process:

Oversee and manage the month-end process, including preparation of the Group Month-End Pack. Achieve a four-day month-end reporting cycle by end 2025.

Revenue Management:

Handle revenue recognition for long-term contracts in collaboration with the FP&A team.

Group Financial Oversight:

Manage the monthly accounts of Group Holdco companies.

Billing Operations:

Review monthly bill runs and address billing issues promptly. Oversee improvements to the billing platform and enhance billing efficiency.

Debt Management:

Review aged debt with the Sales Ledger team and escalate issues as required.

Payroll and Payment Oversight:

Oversee monthly payroll processes and bi-monthly payment runs.

Journal Approval:

Review and approve month-end journals prepared by the team.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and major stakeholders, including shareholders.

Year-End Audit:

Lead the preparation of year-end audit files and statutory financial statements.

Cash Management:

Collaborate with the FP&A team on cash forecasting.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct ad hoc financial modelling and analysis to support strategic growth initiatives. Focus on profitability analysis by product and customer, working closely with the FP&A team.

Qualifications and Experience

Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience. Proven expertise in managing group consolidations and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles for long-term contracts. Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver insightful analysis and drive decision-making. Advanced proficiency in Excel and a process-driven approach. Ability to adapt to change and streamline processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across all functions of the business. Preferred Skills

Familiarity with working in a private equity-owned environment. Compensation This role is offered on a full time permanent basis with a hybrid working model. A competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum is offered, experience dependent, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
