Our client, a successful fashion business, is looking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead their financial operations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, delivering strategic insights, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments, liaise with the Group, and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and processes. Previous experience within a similar finance role within the wholesale, retail, or fashion industry is essential. This role is offering an excellent salary and package as well as some hybrid working. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

Oversee financial statements, group reporting, and reconciliations; develop additional reports to support the business. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead budget and forecast development; provide financial analysis for sales, margins, and cost control. Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and optimise cash flow and working capital, including invoice financing and supplier/customer payment terms. Compliance & Controls:

Implement internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage audits. Leadership:

Manage and mentor a small finance team. Tax & Audit:

Oversee tax filings and audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Person Requirements:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience. Experience in finance roles within the wholesale, retail, or fashion industry. Proficiency in financial software (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities. Strategic mindset with a focus on detail and proactive financial management. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to financial management. High level of integrity and ethical standards.
