Financial Controller

to lead their Finance team in

St Leonards. The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW) with extensive experience in working for a complex organisation. This is a hands-on role where you will lead a team, oversee transactional finance and manage financial strategy. Your key responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting & Monitoring : Oversee management and financial accounts, ensure timely reporting, and optimise cash flow. Budgeting & Forecasting : Monitor revenue and capital budgets, ensure accurate forecasting, and perform sensitivity analyses. Product Cost Modelling : Review cost models for remortgage sales and purchases. Control Environment : Ensure strong financial controls, recommend improvements, and oversee finance system integration. Maintain working knowledge of CLC accounting rules. Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring performance and covering key roles when needed. Audit & Compliance : Liaise with auditors, ensure compliance with IFRS, Companies Act, and manage insurance policies. Tax Management : Liaise with Group Tax Department regarding Corporation Tax & VAT. Skills and Qualifications required: Qualifications:
