What You'll Do:

This position will be responsible for controlling the accounting for all statutory entities within the IMG Arena business. Managing a team of two, reviewing their output and contributing to their ongoing development. Leading on technical accounting under both local and US GAAP; lead on financial controls and taking responsibility for the accuracy of the Balance Sheet of the Arena business as well as the Finance operations.

This role will take a key lead in the relationship with the Revenue accounting team and Polish accounting team as well as liaising with FP&A and Commercial leads as appropriate.

Additionally, they will be a key lead on liaising with all internal and external audit relationships and ensuring the audits run smoothly. Key lead on relationship with appropriate reporting authorities as well as lead with outsourced provider WNS on RTR, OTC and P2P activities.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Provision of Balance Sheet and P&L Commentary Prepare and issue technical accounting advice Responsible for all financial controls and general controls related activity Approval of all balance sheet reconciliations with focus on quarterly review Review of all statutory entity financial statements Review bad debt provision and credit postings Review balance sheet net downs including deferred and accrued income and AR/AP Review embedded derivative postings and reconciliations Review WHT and FIN48 postings as well as all related tax filings Review guarantee information and disclosure notes Review all Reporting packs cover stat entities Review Related Party disclosures Review of all performance disclosure obligations Review and approval of all Technical accounting documents. Review of monthly journals posted by the team Review and approval of documentation and all control procedures Review of capex of internal labour Review ORA and FRSA Working Conditions:

Fixed Term Contract (12-18 Months), London, Chiswick Park

Working Days: Mon-Fri

Working Hours: 9am-5pm

You Have these:

Mandatory:

Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent Confident and flexible team player Experience of providing finance leadership within a commercial environment Proficient in Microsoft packages specifically Excel Ability to work alongside and understand the requirements of operational and commercial colleagues Ability to manage and motivate a team of 2 accountants Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Drive to initiate and lead projects and see them through to a conclusion A pro-active approach and the ability to work independently Desirable:
