Financial Controller in City

Financial Controller, Cardiff (Hybrid) Hexwired Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly growing electronics manufacturing company. They are now seeking a Project Accountant to join their team. This position will suit a qualified accountant. Key Responsibilities: Managing financial planning and cash flow for global projects, including those of significant scale and complexity. Developing financial plans, forecasts, project financials, and reports for senior leadership. Monitoring and controlling expenditures to ensure alignment with allocated budgets. Providing analysis of financial impacts resulting from project changes and potential risks. Ensuring cost control and compliance by reviewing invoices to verify they adhere to approved budgets and contractual agreements. Key Requirements: Professionally qualified accountant, preferably with CIMA or ACA certification. Experience managing or supporting international projects. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively. Proactive, self-motivated, and equipped with a positive, 'can-do' attitude. Sensitivity to cultural differences in global regions and the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and stakeholders. Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
