A leading Cumbria based organisation is looking to recruit a hands-on and pro-active Financial Controller. Reporting to the MD, you will head up the day-to-day financial activities of the business, providing leadership to the Finance Team and ensuring accurate and efficient preparation of month-end accounts, VAT returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, as well as the year-end audit. You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with international business processes and tax issues, as well as software implementation, would be an advantage.
