Financial Controller South Leicestershire £60,000 - £65,000 Full Time, Permanent SF Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing Manufacturing business in their search for an experienced Financial Controller to join & lead their Finance function. They are a highly successful SME with exciting growth plans. This position would suit a Financial Controller looking for a progressive opportunity & route to FD. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the operations of the Finance department and support the Finance & Managing Director. In this key role, you'll handle financial reporting and analysis, contributing to strategic decision-making while enjoying autonomy to improve and streamline the finance function. The ideal Financial Controller will have manufacturing experience & be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA). Duties of the Financial Controller include:

Manage & develop a small Finance team Production and maintenance of a detailed cashflow forecast Maintain accurate accounting records and financial systems ensuring that supporting internal controls are appropriate as the business develops, ensuring integrity and transparency. Monitor and report on performance against budgets and forecasts, with particular attention to Gross Margin analysis & product/customer performance. Review month-end balance sheet reconciliation and control accounts. Deliver daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial performance reports as appropriate, ensuring meaningful relevant data is communicated. Ensuring the annual audit is conducted efficiently and quickly. The ideal Financial Controller will have experience within a Manufacturing & SME environment. Experience & knowledge of Sage would be desirable with strong Excel skills being essential. This position would suit a commercially minded Financial Controller who joins adding value to a rapidly growing business.
