Job Description

The role of a Financial Controller is both critical and substantial within our organization. The person selected for this role will be responsible for the management and oversight of all financial operations and will serve as a strategic advisor on all finance and accounting matters.

Job Purpose

The Financial Controller is tasked with ensuring accurate financial reporting, adhering to regulatory compliance, and implementing effective budgeting strategies. Their strategic financial management skills will contribute to the overall success of the organization by enabling key stakeholders to make informed business decisions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Managing financial forecasting and budgeting processes to support strategic decision-making. Monitoring cash flow and financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and improvement. Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, auditing requirements, and financial policies. Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business strategy. Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulators. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve financial performance. Continuously reviewing industry trends, financial regulations, and competitor activities to adapt financial strategies accordingly. Qualifications Proven ability to think critically and make sound financial decisions in complex and dynamic environments. Knowledge of GAAP. Extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. An innovative, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on process improvements and financial optimization. Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated history of taking initiative and driving financial strategies in previous roles. Additional Information Fully remote set-up. All the equipment you need to succeed, provided by Pixaera. 25 days of company vacation allowance per year in addition to local public holidays.
