Are you an experienced Financial Controller ready for your next career move? Sheridan Maine are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a leading organisation based on the outskirts of Bournemouth.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee both daily financial operations and strategic financial management. Your focus will be on cost control, efficiency improvements, and supporting the growth of a production-driven business, playing a crucial part in its financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of a small financial team whose key deliverables are: accounts payable/receivable, credit control, payroll, bank reconciliations, and other core financial processes. Prepare and present the monthly management accounts, including journal entries, prepayments, accruals, and depreciation of fixed assets. Financial Reporting; Analysing the cash flow forecasts, budget variances, and P&L reports to support strategic decision-making. Lead year-end audits and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Oversee supplier payments and resolve any sales invoice issues. Prepare and submit VAT and PAYE returns. Supervise product costing, inventory control, and process efficiencies. Cross-Department Collaboration; Working with production, sales, and operations teams to provide valuable financial insights. What We’re Looking For:

CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified or equivalent. Strong background in transactional finance, management accounting, cost control, and stock management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with business management software. A proactive mind-set, analytical problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys teamwork.
