Sole Finance Manager / Financial Controller - Hybrid - This privately-owned Property Investment company with a number of commercial and residential SPVs is seeking a Finance Manager / Financial Controller for a sole role managing its day to day and monthly finance / accounts function.
Reporting to the owner and an external FD, this is a hands-on role. The Finance Manager / Financial Controller will oversee all accounting and take responsibility as follows:
Prepare quarterly management accounts for the Board and bank reporting
Trial balance, P&L accounts, balance sheet for various companies / SPVs
Bookkeeping on Xero, intercompany reconciliations, debtor/creditor control
Tenancy / rental reconciliations / rental invoicing and property cost control
Liaise with external accountants, preparing annual accounts
Liaise with external property managing agents / transaction reconciliations
Bank reconciliations and bank loan administration, liaising with providers
Prepare VAT returns for relevant companies in the group
An experienced Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller is required, with Property / Real Estate experience, to take full responsibility for day to day and monthly accounts. Attention to detail and a hands-on approach is key.
