Financial Controller – Luxury Property Development Location: Central London, W1 Working Arrangement: Full-time, 5 days a week in the office Are you a hands-on Financial Controller with a passion for operational excellence and strategic problem-solving? Do you have the expertise to drive financial growth, identify inefficiencies, and uncover opportunities for cost optimisation in a fast-paced, luxury property development environment? The Opportunity As Financial Controller, you’ll play a critical role in both the strategic and operational aspects of the business. Your role will focus on identifying cost inefficiencies, addressing discrepancies, and implementing financial processes to drive profitability and operational efficiency. You’ll partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, providing actionable insights, ensuring compliance, and aligning financial strategy with the company’s ambitious growth plans. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving entrepreneurial setting and enjoys combining high-level strategic thinking with hands-on operational involvement. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight:

Lead day-to-day financial operations, including compliance, reporting, and budget management, while improving efficiency across all financial processes. Strategic Cost Management:

Proactively identify areas of waste and discrepancies across the business, implementing solutions to drive savings and improve profitability. Data-Driven Insights:

Deliver detailed financial analysis and forecasts, offering insights that influence strategic decision-making and uncover opportunities for growth. Business Partnering:

Collaborate with senior leadership to streamline financial processes and align financial strategies with broader business goals. Optimisation & Innovation:

Develop and implement robust financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the business grows. Compliance & Governance:

Ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements and maintains the highest standards of corporate governance. What You Bring Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role, ideally within property development, luxury, or entrepreneurial environments. Exceptional analytical and operational skills, with a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and implementing cost-saving measures. Demonstrated success in improving financial processes, systems, and compliance. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive cross-departmental collaboration. A commercial mindset, coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. What’s on Offer Competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum.
