Part-time (Mon & Tue) - Annesley, Nottingham We are the UK's most successful independent eCommerce development company who are looking for an experienced part-time Financial Controller to join our team and be based at our office at Annesley, Nottinghamshire. The Role

In this position you will support the Company Secretary and Head of Administration with the day-to-day running of the business finance function. The perfect candidate will be versatile and hands on, taking on responsibilities such as reporting, journals, accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and other finance related duties. Responsibilities:

Accounts payable, managing the process from invoice processing, approval and preparing of payment runs and process weekly employee expense claims and collate receipts/invoices for timely credit card statement reconciliation Accounts receivable, including working closely with the internal teams to manage regular invoicing changes, credit control, invoice creation, and issuing credit notes. Accountable for timely and accurate journal posting to ensure up-to-date financial records, aiding in the preparation of financial statements. Perform bank reconciliations Assist the Company Secretary with various ad-hoc tasks as needed. Monthly and annual financial reports, including, forecasting to aid with strategic planning decisions, profit and loss. Provide support with a variety of month-end processes including assistance with VAT returns. Processing the year-end annual accounts up to trail balance, including the completion of any audit requirements. Working closely with the Head of Administration on developing, documenting, and improving business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Essential Skills:

A track record of preparing monthly Profit and Loss reports and experience with the preparation of Year End Accounts Proven experience working hands on in both accounts payable and accounts receivable. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven XERO proficiency, with a demonstrated track record as a Financial Controller Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Ensure precision in financial records Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Desired Skills:

Recognised Management Accountancy/Bookkeeping qualifications, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications What you'll get in return:
