Partnered with an established company situated in Peterborough, we are hiring for a qualified accountant with post qualification experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller position. This is a fixed term contract until 2026 and is a fully office based role, overseeing, managing and mentoring a small finance team.
The main purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day running of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements. Manage the finance team and provide mentorship. Ensure compliance with financial regulations. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making. Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role. Strong leadership and communication skills.
