About The Role: The Financial Controller role as part of the finance team is to develop strong relationships with both central support functions and operational teams while ensuring robust controls and processes to provide accurate and timely information to Thrive Childcare and Education Group and its stakeholders to support decision making. We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will oversee accounting processes, manage audits, statutory accounts, and accounts payable, and provide strategic insights on performance and risk management. The role also involves implementing internal controls, supporting cash flow forecasting, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive organisational growth. The ideal candidate has strong financial management experience, leadership skills, and proficiency in financial systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and logical thinking skills, with a proven ability to solve problems efficiently. You should be able to work under tight deadlines, prioritise tasks effectively, delegate when necessary, and have a keen eye for detail.
