Financial Controller
Financial Controller focuses on full ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial information.
What the role involves
- Full ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial information.
- Review of monthly management accounts in line with group reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards (FRS 102.
- Preparation and coordination of statutory accounts and management of the external audit process.
- For balance sheet integrity, including monthly reconciliations and reviews.
- Oversight of intercompany accounting, reconciliations, confirmations and settlement processes.
Skills and requirements
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferable.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven application of accounting standards.
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience such as PowerBI.
- Experience working with Macros/VBA/SQL (desirable).
