As Financial Controller you will report directly into the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for heading up the largest business unit within the Group. You will play a crucial role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting for the business unit, as well as mentoring a team and supporting with acquisition integration and systems implementation and stabilisation projects. Client Details My client are one of the North West's fatest growing businesses, having received PE investment 2 years ago. They have since tripled their turnover and made a series of acquisitions. They are market leaders in their industry and have experienced exponential growth. Description Manage and develop a Team of 5 (4 direct reports, 1 indirect) Develop relationships with newly acquired companies, providing training and guidance to adhere to group reporting policies and timelines Responsible for integrity of all numbers and reporting by the business unit. Ownership of component submissions to group team, in line with group timetable Ensuring reporting follows group accounting policies and controls. Identifying areas of improvement and embedding approved changes into management accounts processes. Facilitate production and review of subsidiary statutory financial statements, following a standardised template for disclosure requirements. Support the budget and forecasting cycle as required by Group FP&A team. Support Treasury team in weekly Cashflow forecasting process Lead the finance integration of acquired businesses, including acquisition balance sheets, alignment of reporting, consistency of accounting policies. Key player in Microsoft Dynamics finance system implementation, championing new, consistent and efficient ways of working. Profile ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a few years post qualified experience Strong technical financial accounting and reporting ability. Proven experience in financial management roles in fast paced environments Highly proficient with a range of IT systems - experience of Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable. Experience with implementing a new ERP system is a plus. Leadership qualities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building strong business partnerships. Ability to work independently and take initiative, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
