MP3 Job Description About the Role Sitting within Newcastle Strategic Solution's Operational department, the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Team supports both Newcastle Building Society and Newcastle Strategic Solutions partners in preventing and detecting all types of Fraud typologies, Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing on our business savings products (online and in branch). This is an exciting role which is to support in the delivery and management of a compliant and effective programme of financial crime controls including but not limited to customer due diligence for our SME customers from the initial on-boarding through to the ongoing monitoring control framework. As a SME specialist, your role will be varied and will include conducting horizon scanning and the completion of gap analysis against regulatory publications. About You The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a SME environment, either in a Customer Due Diligence, AML/Financial Crime capacity or as a business banking relationship manager. They will also have sound knowledge and a good understanding of the financial crime threats facing the savings sectors and the applicable regulatory obligations, such as Anti Money Laundering regulations.
