Job Role: Financial Modeller Industry: Utilities Location: Warwick (Hybrid working - 3 days on site) Contract Length: 12 months We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to join our growing FP&A team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to design, shape, and build new financial models to enable medium and long-term strategic planning and short-term rolling forecasting, helping the business become more agile in strategic and corporate planning. You will collaborate with the wider FP&A team, the Finance Business Partners team, the Regulatory Finance team, and the Financial Control team to ensure all aspects of planning are captured and provide all internal planning requirements based on an activity-based business model. This role offers hybrid working options, allowing you to work from both the office and home. Key Responsibilities Build stakeholder relationships to gain insight into internal processes. Work with the wider business to understand the balance between costs and associated revenues. Understand the financial workings of the organization to build an end-to-end forecasting and corporate business planning model. Deliver a 24-month rolling forecast covering Operating Costs, Capital Expenditure, and Other Operating Costs, driving out financial statement forecasts. Qualifications and Skills: We're looking for someone who: Is passionate about financial modelling in a fast-paced environment. Has experience in financial modelling and understands the complex landscape in which we operate. Has solid experience using Excel and other Microsoft programs. Is a strong communicator with excellent writing skills. Has an Accountancy Qualification. Has the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
