Description

In light of Progeny's continued growth in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planner to join the evolving team. As part of ongoing and planned business succession and growth, the successful candidate will work alongside established Financial Planners and ultimately take over established client relationships with HNW and VHNW clients. You will nurture your client relationships, manage your portfolio effectively, and competently provide financial advice, whilst ensuring Progeny’s exceptionally high level of service is upheld. You will provide intelligent, creative solutions to client issues, and communicate financial plans and advice concisely, enabling your clients to reach their goals for the future. This role will be based at the Gibbs Denley office, a Chartered Financial Planning business, due to be integrated with Progeny. The successful candidate will be employed by Progeny.

Key Responsibilities

Meet Clients’ demands, keeping them up to date with progress and engendering trust and respect, actively promoting the TCF initiative. Assist in the delivery of independent financial plans and advice in accordance with Progeny Wealth’s regulatory standards and rules. Communicate financial plans and advice simply and concisely, ensuring client engagement and understanding. Assist in providing and implementing suitable private client financial advice to meet and/or exceed agreed activity targets. Manage ongoing reviews in line with client service agreements. Create and maintain compliant client files where all communication is documented correctly. Provide intelligent and creative solutions to Client issues both reactively and proactively. Learn, understand, and successfully articulate all aspects of the firm’s financial planning proposition.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Diploma in Financial Planning Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable) Proven experience using a full range of provider products, services, and capabilities, and have taken an active role in delivering them. Previously held CF30 and been in a client-facing advisory role for at least 2 years. Knowledge of key areas of financial planning and advice – including investment planning, pre/at retirement planning, personal and business protection, and estate planning. Experience in building and maintaining excellent relationships both internally and externally. Knowledge and understanding of FCA suitability requirements. Benefits
